Islamic terrorism is a crisis that is impacting nations worldwide. Countries such as France and Germany are getting a lesson that their leadership refuses to learn. The Muslim mayor of London basically told his citizens to just get used to terrorist acts. The Middle-East is a hopeless mess. Mr. Obama was useless in dealing with the problem as expected.
When you look to major countries that are prepared to fight this scourge, there really are not many in national leadership who are really prepared to step up to the plate and take concrete action. President Putin is one. President Trump is another. Hence globalist interests such as the Deep State that want to use uncontrolled immigration to destroy national borders are determined to sabotage any efforts by Putin and Trump to cooperate in attacking terrorism. Hence the problem with Syria.
Megyn Kelly had an opportunity to interview Vladimir Putin, and what started out as an interview turned into an educational experience for Ms. Kelly, in particular with regard to Syria and its President Assad.
The interview, which is available below, covered a number of topics, but there was one issue where Mr. Putin’s comments should have made Ms. Kelly very uncomfortable.
He alleged that the US has used terrorist groups in the past when it suited US goals, in particular when the US organized and supplied weapons to “freedom fighters” to battle the former Soviet Union in Afghanistan. He was highly critical of this strategy as one might expect, however he made it a point to hammer home that these so-called freedom fighters morphed into Al-Qaeda which then turned on the US and later supported the attacks on the World Trade Center on 9/11.
In discussing the situation involving Syria and the various actors involved in that conflict, Putin suggested that the US might be making some of the same mistakes that he alleged that we made in Afghanistan.
This would not be the first time it has been suggested that elements of the US intelligence community might have used subterfuge in the form of assistance to terrorists in order to advance hidden goals.
And if this is going on, it would not be the first time that such actions blew up in our face.
