In this Telegraph TV interview, Christon Scriven, a friend of Dylann Roof, says Roof told him that the University of Charleston was the original target. Scriven suspects that campus security deterred Roof from attacking there.
Scriven also states that Roof, the man suspected of shooting nine people inside a historic black church in Charleston was never racist with him.
The question remains to be asked, “Was it legal for him to have the gun, in the first place ?”
