Senator Charles E. Grassley (R-IA) recently sent Eric Holder a letter when he was Attorney General demanding to know why the VA has been placing veterans on a federal gun ban list – labeling them as “mentally defective”.
Grassley wrote, “The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) is effectively a national gun ban list and placement on the list precludes the ownership and possession of firearms. According to the Congressional Research Service, as of June 1, 2012, 99.3% of all names reported to the NICS list’s “mental defective” category were provided by the Veterans Administration (VA) even though reporting requirements apply to all federal agencies. 1 And that percentage remained virtually unchanged as of April 2013.2 Given the numbers, it is essential to ensure that the process by which the VA reports names to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for placement on the NICS list recognizes and protects the fundamental nature of veterans’ rights under the Second Amendment.”

definitely doesn’t make sense that there trying to take guns from veterans ,yet they arnt screening illegal aliens coming into our country which have killed thousands of Americans over the years ,or to take $1.4 billion from our veterans retirement ,yet there wanting to give $50 billion to iran our enemy,so let me get this straight ,take from america and aid our enemy has anyone seen a trend ? ,because it seems to happen over and over ,shouldn’t want america armed and the enemy disarmed ? that would make more sense for national security. duh! whos making those treasonous decisions and why are they getting away with it ? we need to elect a president that will defend our cons$#%&!@*utional rights and our laws period . thats where serving Americans starts!!!!

Maybe all veterans should begin stocking all the necessary equipment to begin a war with the federal government. They are brain dead and know that veterans can and know how to use a weapon which Obama does not want. He is trying to be a dictator and the Senate and House doesn’t have the nerve to stop it or they are being bribed by the Democrats.
