Rochelle Gutierrez, an esteemed professor of education at the University of Illinois recently published a paper outlining the racist structures of learning math – which is just ridiculous.
But why are we so surprised that the ideological party that gave us the KKK is still so committed to subjecting minorities?
Education used to be seen as the gateway to success. Activist fought hard for the rights of ALL children to receive a good education. Only for the racist liberal social justice warriors and ‘academics’ to come out claiming learning a certain mathematical principle is encouraging white supremacy.
What would you guess the most racist mathematical discipline is? Because yes, one mathematical subject is now ‘academically’ shown to be more racist than all of the rest! I was severely abused as a child. I pulled myself up by my bootstraps, got my B.S. in 3 years and eventually became a Chiropractor. I live a Beautiful Blessed Life. Anyone can do it. This is America. This is an eye opening article. For many decades I have heheard how I, a white male, had been given undue privilege. But now, thanks to Professor Gutierrez, I realize two new things about myself.
1. I am not a racist.
2. I must be either a special minority or simply black!
I can say these things with confidence because I SUCK at Math! Who knew?
