The concerns of a handful of students and faculty resulted in the cancellation of the pledge and the presentation of colors at a Veteran’s Day Chapel at Seattle Pacific University. These few opinions resulted in a choice that has a multitude of students, faculty and parents irate.
Veteran’s Day celebrations always have the pledge and the presentation of colors of the flag. These men and women have died for Old Glory and yet some foolishly think the flag could offend some and therefore are willing to offend most.
