Two Die From Flesh-Eating Bacteria In Florida

Seafood in Florida laden with a flesh-eating bacteria have killed two people this year. The bacteria is called Vibrio vulnificus and it can infect people who eat or touch raw, infected seafood. Infections from this bacteria are said to have the highest human fatality rate for any bacterium.

Although people usually don’t get ill from swimming in infected waters unless they have an open wound, but they can through mosquito bites.
