In a fitting topic for the income tax filing deadline, Tucker Carlson roasted a California politics professor on Tucker Carlson Tonight last evening for claiming wealthy Americans are not paying their “fair share” in income taxes.
Caroline Heldman, an assistant professor of politics at Occidental College in Los Angeles, argued for radically hiking taxes on taxpayers in the top one percent of income, those earning $470,000 and higher.
She based her argument in part on the fact that wealthy individuals paid as much as 90 percent in taxes during the presidencies of Dwight Eisenhower and John Kennedy.
Find out how Carlson countered her argument and revealed her for the socialist ideologue she is on the next page.
I agree with you. I couldn’t believe that a friend of mine last relative paid his taxes, and died shortly after. This friend received the money, and properties. Once everything was transfer to him, he paid taxes again! That is totally wrong!
She us an idiot
And she is a professor….oh my!
Thanks for bringing this up. Also, many liberals like Hillary, gave the money to the poor on December, and got the money back the very next month. Actually, more than what she gave.
Now is the question…why do I need to give my hard working money to charities when they have CEOs making more money than I?
Chet Reynolds President Trump is trying to do that. We need to support him
I’m ultraconservative, so I believe the same things, but he is an ungracious bully and should not have his own show.
Tax and spend. Nonsense.
She is an idiot
I’m totally fine with cracking down on anyone with offshore bank accounts. I’m also down with cracking down on outsourced jobs unless it’s explicitly agreed upon in the contract. I just don’t think being successful means you owe more to society since none of us are entitled to the labor/income of anyone else. I am totally cool with raising taxes on gains from investments and interest since typically you’re not exactly doing the leg work yourself.
