In a fitting topic for the income tax filing deadline, Tucker Carlson roasted a California politics professor on Tucker Carlson Tonight last evening for claiming wealthy Americans are not paying their “fair share” in income taxes.
Caroline Heldman, an assistant professor of politics at Occidental College in Los Angeles, argued for radically hiking taxes on taxpayers in the top one percent of income, those earning $470,000 and higher.
She based her argument in part on the fact that wealthy individuals paid as much as 90 percent in taxes during the presidencies of Dwight Eisenhower and John Kennedy.
Find out how Carlson countered her argument and revealed her for the socialist ideologue she is on the next page.
Lol never vote Dem,s again, stop the real evil and brain dead.
Specializes in the Presidency, media, gender and race? So she teaches protesting
Just another idiot with a-dime-a-dozen Phd thinking she’s smarter than anybody else!
Someone shove another Vicodin in this$#%&!@*mouth.. unhinged lib pos
Don’t try and justify your position by saying you “Donate” large sums of money to “charities” I’m quite sure at the end of the year you take advantage of every tax credit you can.
When the state of California is soending millions on welfare to illegals, millions more for legal defense on these same illegals, then insults the president and refuses to follow the law of the land in regards with illegal immigration laws. Yet the governor turns around, with his hand outstretched, asking for federal funds.because he doesn’t have enough money to pay to fix the roads and other infrastructure falling apart after.years of neglect.
Get real folks… it’s not taxes killing middle or lower working class Americans… you dont make enough money to get the benefit . Its math people. Let’s say you get a $500 tax windfall or you go from making $10 an hr. to $15 an hr. $4 more. 4x40hrs= 160. 160 x 4 wks=640. Living wage is what helps working people. Not tax breaks.
How much do you make an hr. ? $10, $15,$25,$35? Tax cuts only benefit higher earners. Living wage increases benefit working class. Do the math.
Anyone know if obamacare covers the mental disorder known as liberalism.????
In general, Americans may pay from 10 to 40 percent of their income to the federal government for fund government programs and operations, as well as to pay interest on the national debt. Ms. Heldman maintains that the top one percent of taxpayers should pay a tax rate of 80 percent or more, using the typical progressive nostrum that they “don’t pay their fair share.” AND LIBERALS SEE NO PROBLEM, JUST PAY MORE
