Trump Tweets Claim Obama Colluded with Foreign Power to Spy on 2016 Campaign

In an early morning Wednesday tweet, President Donald Trump accused former President Obama of conspiring with a United Kingdom’s intelligence agencies to influence the 2016 presidential election.

“‘Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson accuses United Kingdom Intelligence of helping Obama Administration Spy on the 2016 Trump Presidential Campaign.’” @OANN WOW! It is now just a question of time before the truth comes out, and when it does, it will be a beauty!” Trump tweeted, citing Johnson’s interview released Wednesday by the One America News Network.

Johnson previously claimed that the U.K has spied on Trump during the 2016 election and argued that that the CIA, not Russia, could have been responsible for hacking the DNC.

The tweet comes just a day after it was announced the President would visit the U.K. in June.

“The President of The United States of America, President Donald J. Trump, accompanied by Mrs Melania Trump, has accepted an invitation from Her Majesty The Queen to pay a State Visit to the UK,” The Royal Family said.

In March 2017 Fox News Senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano was suspended after he made the same controversial claim that Obama colluded with British intelligence to spy on Trump Tower.
