Trump Manager Corey Lewandowski Escapes Battery Charges, Fields Responds

After Michelle Fields filed charges against Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, many skipped the trial and assumed Lewandowski was guilty right away. Not so fast.

Former Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields expressed disappointment late Wednesday night that a Florida prosecutor leaked his decision not to prosecute Donald Trump’s campaign manager for battery to the press.

Fields thought she’d be the first to know.

In March, Fields said that campaign manager Corey Lewandowski grabbed her and bruised her arm while she was questioning Trump as he walked out of a press event. She later filed assault charges against Lewandowski.

“Prosecutor’s office told me they would inform me of decision tomorrow. If reports true, guess they decided to leak to reporters first. Ugly.” -@Michelle Fields 5:12 PM – 13 Apr 2016

It seems Fields is more concerned with the story than she is the charges. Typical reporter. Likely, that’s all this was ever about; sensationalizing an event that barely happened at all in order to tear down Trump.
