Now that Donald Trump is officially President of the United States, he is wasting no time getting to work and trying to keep his promise to make America great again.
Under the reign of Barack Obama, the government has grown to levels unprecedented in American history. Thousands of employees were added to Washington's job rolls and millions and perhaps even billions were spent in the eight years that he was president. With this in mind, it was no surprise that an overwhelming majority of Americans voted for Trump and thus rebuked the big government policies of the previous administration.
Now that Trump is in the White House, conservatives have a chance to undo the damage that Obama and his fellow Democrats did. It won't be easy with the left, still bitter over its massive loss in November, hostile as ever, but it can be done, as President Trump can show.
