Trump: ‘Everyone’ at G20 Talking About Podesta not Giving DNC Server to Authorities

Former Clinton campaign manager John Podesta called President Donald Trump a “whack job” on Twitter today. He did so because the President dared to report what G-20 attendees were saying about Clinton’s refusal to cooperate with the FBI:

Early Friday morning, Trump tweeted that everyone at the G-20 summit in Germany he is currently attending was “talking about why John Podesta refused to give the DNC server to the FBI and the CIA.”

[…]

“Disgraceful!” Trump said of the DNC’s refusal to hand over the server, blaming Podesta for the decision although he was not head of the organization.

Several hours later, Podesta fired back.

“On a x-country road trip with my wife;” he wrote. “Pulled in for a pit stop in E. Fairmont W. Va. to see that our whack job POTUS @realDonaldTrump is tweeting about me at the G20.”

“Get a grip man, the Russians committed a crime when they stole my emails to help get you elected President,” Podesta added. His emails were hacked and published by WikiLeaks during the 2016 campaign.

Podesta was clearly more irked about the situation than the president because he went on a rather long Twitter rant in response to Trump’s tweet.
