The Donald mentioned the mistreatment and “horrors” that many veterans have faced in obtaining the most modest medical services and care. He promised that under his administration, veterans would be treated as “first-class citizens”.
Breitbart reports, that while in Nashville, at a National Federation of Republican Assemblies event, Trump remarked,
“illegal immigrants, in many cases–not in all cases, but in many cases–are treated better than our veterans, who are the greatest people we have.”
Illegal immigrants and DREAMers were protesting outside the event, causing Trump to react by saying,
“What about our children?… Why can’t our children that are in the country… Why can’t they be the dreamers?”
“…nobody ever talks about them… we talk about the DREAMERs… we talk about the illegal immigrants, who, by the way, are treated better than the vets.”
Others, like Sarah Palin and Mark Levin, have also voiced similar sentiment, that illegals cut in line, pushing our Veterans and our kids to the back, all the while being rewarded for their illegal behavior.

Same goes for drug screening for employment, they catch less than 1% of drug users but the issue there is equal means equal period.
