Trey Gowdy Grills Hillary On ‘Unsolicited’ Sidney Blumenthal Emails

“Sidney Blumenthal wanted to work for the State Department,” Trey Gowdy pointed out, “but he was rejected.”   Who in the White House rejected Sidney Blumenthal?”

Hillary responded, “I don’t know.”

Goudy proceeds, “After he was turned down by the the State Department by the White House, he went to work where?”

And the plot thickens… The Clinton Foundation, Media Matters, Correct the Record….

Hillary called Blumenthal an old friend who sent unsolicited emails to her and whom she viewed as outside the “bubble”.  He would send emails about Lybia, a place he had business interests, and give his political opinion.  Hillary would redact out any identifiers as to whom the emails were from prior to forwarding them on. What was she hiding, by redacting his name?  What exactly does she mean by unsolicited emails?  Find out more on the next page.
