Offended America has struck again, breathing new life into a debate that liberals pursued with heated intensity earlier this year.
If you’ll recall the incident that happened back in June, when Dylann Roof shot and killed nine people at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, N.C. Not only were all nine of his victims African American, but during the investigation, photographs found by investigators depicted Roof flying a Confederate Flag, prompting states to remove Confederate flags from all government buildings or be forced to deal with the offended cries of outrage from activist groups like Black Lives Matter and everyone else ignorant of the flag’s meaning.
Apparently flags are now responsible for mass shootings. In this latest incident involving the Confederate flag, University students in Massachusetts who were upset by an image of a Confederate flag sticker on another student’s laptop were offered counseling at Framingham State University.

That flag is a battle flag during a time when slavery was common, it does NOT represent slavery! The south released their slaves before the civil war and this battle AND before Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation. The North did not release theirs until after that, and was mighty angry about having to do so. Many former slaves and black land owners fought shoulder to shoulder with their white counterparts in that civil war under that battle flag in an effort to not be controlled by the north and have their land taken by them. Maybe a real history lesson is needed for these perpetually offended people and those who believe this is a flag of slavery? Start by searching the Confederate Flag and read of its history. The only thing “racists” about this flag is the amount of ignorance and racism is took to have it banned, and for those who think that banning, ignoring, altering or denying ones right to it are equally racist. When society gets so ignorant that history is banned, erased and rewritten to suit the needs of the ignorant, truth gets lost and history is lost, and all that survives is ignorance and racism. How will future generations ever know and learn truth to go forward with when there is nothing truthful left of our past?
