It’s not often that you hear someone from Hollywood speak sense, so when it does happen it’s best that we pay close attention.
In case anyone was unable to deduce where the vast majority of the film and entertainment industry’s sympathies lay, this year’s long, bitter election cycle made it very clear: they are almost entirely in the pocket of the Democratic Party. And while it’s certainly been no secret that stars like George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio and Cher are staunch liberals, it became much more apparent by the hysterical way they reacted to Donald Trump’s campaign for the presidency.
Instead of seeking to understand what motivated people to support Donald Trump, Hollywood decided to demonize their fellow Americans and accuse them of racism, sexism, and other forms of bigotry. Now that the election is over however, some brave voices are speaking out against the industry’s condescending liberalism.

It isn’t that we think celebrities “no everything,” but we do think they have the same rights as every other profession. Just because one becomes an actor doesn’t mean that one gives up his right to free expression. What you’re pissed off about is that they have a bigger platform to expose their ideas from.

Celebrities have their own opinions just as the rest of us do. And they should be keeping their mouths shut and not keep trying to push their opinions on us!

You and I went to the same university, how did you fail to learn anything about the Constitution and the Bill of Rights?
Well, we have federal election law that governs that very issue, and the idea that you are proposing isn’t legal. All of our public and they are available both on the Internet and at your local library. If you are able to read, I would suggest you take a gander at some of them. This would prevent you from making ignorant statements in the future.
I guess the law only counts when it benefits your statements.
