The Lieutenant Governor, sheriffs and other experts on immigration in Texas all met at the State Capital on Wednesday to discuss the feds precious sanctuary state for criminal illegals that it creates through its Priority Enforcement Program.
Texas is facing a crisis created by the federal government’s new immigration policies and these figures are desperately trying to deal with the continuous damage – they are warning everyone that the federal government had completely tied their hands.

Everyone is right here, Feds have no say so on local sheriff’s. The sheriff is top dog and just needs to enforce the law!!!!!!!!!

Mostly bs, if an illegal commits a crime, local police can arrest and prosecute. This article makes it sound like sanctuary cities are part of the federal system. Sheriffs can arrest those who break laws within their jurisdiction, they cannot arrest federal agents for doing their duty under their jurisdiction.
This article is what I have been hearing. They were deporting criminals, now they have to catch, detain and just release. And by the way, sheriff can arrest Feds if they perform illegal activities in their county. If Feds want to come in and arrest someone, they are supposed to get it approved by Sheriff. Sheriff is more powerful than any federal agency.
Texas did so well as a republic, they had to beg the US to take them in as a state. How did the last seccession work for you?

This is the state that went insane over the Jade Helm army exercises, did not trust our armed forces. Let’s get rid of the tea party nuts and bring in some hard working aliens to replace them.
