Texas Mayor Invites All Transgender Military to Join Police Force if President Trump Delivers on Ban

Steve Adler, Austin Texas Mayor, is encouraging transgender military members to move to Texas and join his police department if they’re discharged from the Military.

It all started of course when the President fireoffof a few polarizing tweets last Wednesday guaranteed to get the people going.

I love the President. Truly his ability to get the people going is unparalleled and something to be studied by all.

But, Mayor Adler might be well advised to look into the policies of the police academy and other variables before pulling out his metaphorical 21st-century pen and paper and getting all Twitter happy.

The Austin Police Department currently has a transgender officer, the Austin American-Statesman reported. Officer Greg Abbing served in the U.S. Army as a woman. Following that service and nearly a decade on the Austin Police Department, she came out as transgender and underwent “reconstructive chest surgery” to alter her appearance. Since that time, Abbink served as a male police officer.

Not exactly sure how having one transgendered police officer automatically grants Mayor Adler the authority to automatically implement policies that generate basis against normal healthy people applying to the Police Academy. But, once again, to state the obvious, Mayor Adler was just being a showboat or trolling his own liberal fan base which very well might be the case.

In December 2014, the City of Austin added transgender surgery and hormone treatments to the city’s health care coverage for its employees.

So, these potentially discharged service members are all going to move to Austin against the advice of the liberal moral authority that is the state of CA to get free transgender surgery curtsey of longtime Texan residents tax dollars? O and I feel like a mermaid inside would the force consider paying for surgery to give me fins and a pool that I can live in while being a cop protecting the city of Austin? Mermaids are people too. It’s not fair. People just see me as a freak. But, it’s who I really am. And you can’t be yourself without other people’s validation and approval. Which is a problem because I’ve always felt most like myself in a shell bikini in the water so therefore I must really be a mermaid inside even though I am a human. It’s how I feel. Also, we’re going to need to force the entire police force to change uniforms. I don’t want to feel like I’m not normal or that people think I’m less of a cop.

This is slightly exaggerated. But you get the point. There is such a thing as normal. And society, standards, and safety all start going down the crapper when you start catering to the FEELINGS of everybody.
