When Kamel Fotouh from the Katy Islamic Association moved next door to Craig Baker and his 200-year-old family farm, he told Baker he should either pack up his stuff and move or at least get rid of his pigs.
It seems Fotouh also called BakerĀ a liar at a town meeting.
Baker responded by holding pig races every Friday, one of Islam’s most holy days, during their prayer time.

LOL……well what can I say……that family has probably had pigs there on that farm for the last 200 years. If they don’t like it go back to their country cause they are living in OUR country now!!!!
Love this!!!!
Seems like someone didn’t perform due diligence. When you buy a house that’s next to the airport, shouldn’t you think about the noise factor? “Hey, the noise bothers me” may be a valid point, but one that the purchaser should have thought about *before* making the purchase.
Having pig races during Friday prayers seems a bit strong, but the “in your face” factor is funny. …
Funny.
Sherry, Im not defending the people trying to get rid of the pigs. I believe they have no right what so ever to tell their neighbors they can’t have pigs because of a religious belief. I strongly believe in what our founding fathers wrote in the bill of rights, Declaration of Independence & U.S. Constitution, that there is a separation of church & state. Jefferson would be turning in his grave over the idea that ANYONE/ AMERICAN would impose their religious beliefs on any other American.
On another note if that family has had that farm for over two hundred years they probably obtained that land via ‘gun point’ and pushed the original inhabitants off their family land, was my point of that post.
GOOD FOR HIM.
You mean to tell me before they bought their property they couldn’t tell by the smell there was a pig farm next door. It’s a very distinctive odor.
This is America. Go back home if you don’t like it. We LOVE our pork!
I doubt these stories are true……makes a good GOP / Teabagger talking point though
