When Kamel Fotouh from the Katy Islamic Association moved next door to Craig Baker and his 200-year-old family farm, he told Baker he should either pack up his stuff and move or at least get rid of his pigs.
It seems Fotouh also called Baker a liar at a town meeting.
Baker responded by holding pig races every Friday, one of Islam’s most holy days, during their prayer time.

I’d start raising Black Labs too! Lots of them!
Islam isn’t a religion, its a sickness! The ground its self was made “Unclean” long before he got there. Getting rid of the pigs would do no good!
What kills me, is these folks from this Mosque seem to not be able to keep their story straight. It begins with them complaining about the hogs, and ends with them saying the hogs don’t bother them.
I’m also wondering what kind of agenda they have going on, since the leader of this “group” stated the Houston area doesn’t fit the needs of his mosque, yet, a small farming community fits it fine? I trust that as much as I trust a grizzly bear with a 12 gauge shotgun. It all sounds fishy to me. 200 year old family farm has grandfather rights regardless of anything. Blatant disrespect of the Baker family who have deep seated roots in that farm. It lights a fire under my, you know what!
the farmer had grand-fathered rights
When the wind is blowing toward said neighbors, have a pig roast!!! 😉
hehehehehe…….DON’T MESS WITH A TEXAN….especially if you’re NOT a Texan. Good for him for standing HIS ground… PIGS RULE 🙂
Bury remains of a pig on the ground the mosque will be built on. Land will be deemed unholy and mosque cannot be built .

“Good Job, Mr. Baker! After reading their replies about your pigs, saying ” It’s not that we don’t like pigs, we just choose not to eat them!” My question is, if that’s the case then what was the fuss about in the first place? I got to say, if someone had asked me to move from my farm that was in the family for 200 years to some folks that want to build something, they can kiss my tail end. What about zoning laws? And, it also makes me VERY curious as to why, as they say “the Houston area no longer fits their needs” I wonder what needs you have to do to build your mosque in the country outside of city limits? If you need more hog handlers, Mr. Baker, I’ll be happy to come to Katy from Fort Worth! This country woman ain’t scared. and Katy isn’t that far! I think the theme song for your hog races should be “Screw You, We’re from Texas” By the great Ray Wylie Hubbard!”
