When Kamel Fotouh from the Katy Islamic Association moved next door to Craig Baker and his 200-year-old family farm, he told Baker he should either pack up his stuff and move or at least get rid of his pigs.
It seems Fotouh also called Baker a liar at a town meeting.
Baker responded by holding pig races every Friday, one of Islam’s most holy days, during their prayer time.

Hey, PSST!! This is a news story from 2006! Fotouh asked that Baker remove his cattle from the land that Fotouh had purchased. He was not asking Baker to remove pigs from Baker’s property. Baker was mistaken, and realized his error after already having put up his signs for the races, but … “Though he now concedes the Muslims are probably not after his land, Baker said he is obligated to go through with the pig races, probably within the next few weeks, because “I would be like a total idiot if I didn’t. I’d be the laughingstock now because I’ve gone too far.” ”
