Best line ever from this campus police “know it all”. He actually cited “you can’t be here because you can’t solicit your opinion”. Last time I checked 5th grade class, that would be free speech, otherwise known as First Amendment Right. This happening while Valerie Jarrett openly publically welcomed the Black Lives Matter protest leaders into our White House to slobber over them like they were MLK, Jr. Then she tweeted an official “thank you to BLM for their visit, and great leadership. Of course, the disparity of BLM free speech and assembly rights, are all good, this bad.
The fact that this cop acts as if campus being a marketplace for differing ideas, viewpoints and perspectives is in some way offensive, and something that isn’t wanted by the college, would seem to be indicative of a growing homogenization of thought on college campuses.
In case you haven’t been paying attention, the permit to engage in political speech and hand out literature on a public college campus is the Constitution! This blatant attempt at usurping political speech cannot be allowed to stand.

Officer, you clearly have no understanding of the idea of free speech, the constitution or the law. Since this was the basis of your oath and a necessity of your job, without further training you should be fired.
Nix the signs, keep moving, allow people to take a Constit., don’t pass them out. Authority is trying to box free speech, and assembly rights! What part of infringe don’t they understand?
