Something bizarre is happening off the coast of Galveston, Texas. Were you to look toward the sea in the Texas port town, you’d be subject to a oceanic traffic jam of epic proportions. Ships carrying oil have gathered along the coast in the Gulf of Mexico in such great quantities that ships approaching the port have been asked to move toward the town slowly in an attempt to ease the burden.
This phenomenon is directly tied to the huge amounts of oil stored internationally and in floating container ships across the world. As oil prices fall, stockpiles of the resource are going through the roof, and governments and companies don’t have anywhere else to store it.
This could cause the price of oil to fall catastrophically further, as supply far exceeds demand for the time being.

This is way old. Is this a good thing for the US econimy?? hell no the US is so reliant to oil that we will as a government will provide a solution to this hemorage. There has to be some kind of drug we can provide….. Or better yet give it a home and refuge.
To tell the truth after reading all these posts. Unfortunatley as soon as the new president is elected or by electoral vote. My friends we are going to war. A freakin bad war
Maybe I’m stating the obvious but has it crossed anyone’s mind that those cargo ships could be loaded with anything? Including military assets? And they’ve closed in on their final destinations before carrying out their purpose. Every coastline all around the globe is effectively surrounded because these ships are supposedly “parked” for economic reasons.
They are loaded with U.N troops arriving to take our guns away.
Lol, maybe so..
If oil prices are so low then why is the cheapest oil I can buy still costing 5-6 dollars a quart??
And Iran is going to flood the market, i’ll never get back to the Oil Field if this happens
I THOUGHT WE USE TO MUCH OIL TO KEEP UP WITH THE DEMAND. I THINK THIS IS B******T. IF WE USE TO MUCH WE WOULD USE EVEN MORE IF THE PRICES FALL.
Look for the Stock Market to crash soon!!!!
Andy said it this was done in 1974 as a gas shortage to get gas prices up , its BS
