Something bizarre is happening off the coast of Galveston, Texas. Were you to look toward the sea in the Texas port town, you’d be subject to a oceanic traffic jam of epic proportions. Ships carrying oil have gathered along the coast in the Gulf of Mexico in such great quantities that ships approaching the port have been asked to move toward the town slowly in an attempt to ease the burden.
This phenomenon is directly tied to the huge amounts of oil stored internationally and in floating container ships across the world. As oil prices fall, stockpiles of the resource are going through the roof, and governments and companies don’t have anywhere else to store it.
This could cause the price of oil to fall catastrophically further, as supply far exceeds demand for the time being.

Take the world events and mesh them together and grasp the scope of what is happening folks!! Summit on global climate to change eventually to none fossilized fuels, kill all industrialized businesses…. It’s called the end of capitalism… No more jobs unless it’s thru the government’s BS programs… Economic meltdown on its way!!
Let us not be like those who tend to forget or ignore history. We have seen before where there are ample supplies of petroleum but it is stored in any container possible to create artificial shortages until the demand becomes great again to drive the prices back up. Be watchful and vigilant for those manipulating the market to enhance profits.
Was going to say these look empty.

The Tankers in the photo are not loaded. If they were they would be sitting low in the water. If they were going to write a story about ships sitting in the gulf loaded with oil don’t you think they could fly over and get a shot of loaded tankers? If you can get “Stock” photos of empty tankers can’t you get “Stock” photos of loaded tankers?
These are empty tankers. Take a look a the water lines on the tankers…. there is more red showing than black. If there was more black showing they would be full of oil. these tankers were waiting for Obama to sign the bill to allow the oil companies to sell over seas.
This happens every time oil goes below 50 a barrel…Move along folks…Nothing to see here…
Read the whole thing! Slow pumping/they met demand/find a location to build storage on land.
You are right .No Conspercy,Just another way tokeep prices up
Not really. When the first hits those tankers come right back in. Unless they get orders to move since our wonderful government just lifted the ban on exports. So when the prices start rising FASTER at the pump we need to start blaming our favorite punching bags in DC.
Why did this post then show a picture of empty tankers? Look at them! They are floating high and dry. Leads one to doubt the veracity of the article.
