Comedian Steve Harvey has teamed up with Ben Carson in order to build what he calls a “vision center” aimed at elevating America’s inner cities. But teaming up with the administration — while noble — was simply too scandalous for many of the comedian’s fans.
Harvey defended the meeting in January, when he said he had an “obligation to take a seat at the table when invited.”
“It was so vicious that it really threw me,” he told THR. “I was being called names that I’ve never been called: Uncle Tom. A coon. A sellout. Because I went to see this man?!”
In April, Harvey told TMZ that he had met with HUD, and that Trump was keeping his promises to inner city communities on housing.
“As far as doing what he promised me he would do, he is doing it,” he said.
Despite the undue push back, the comedian claims he has met with HUD twice and that the vision center will be announced by the end of the year.

” He aint no real black man. He sold out to the man. We want inner cities to keep being on welfare so we don’t have to get off our butts and get a job.” This is many of the black and leftest view of Steve. I think what he is doing is great. Keep it up.
