Hillary Clinton attempted to respond to Donald Trump’s attacks this week, but she didn’t do it well.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton responded to Donald Trump’s takedown of her candidacy with a sigh.
“Think about it. He’s going after me personally because he has no answers on the substance,” Clinton said during a rally in North Carolina. “All he can do is he’s trying to distract us. That’s even why he’s attacking my faith.”
After pausing for dramatic effect, she said. “Sigh.”
Sigh. It’s probably the word echoing through the Clinton campaign’s heads as they watch their candidate struggle to be interesting, fun, or even slightly human. Of course, accomplishing those things must be hard considering she has to constantly defend herself and the scandals she has created. After her “response” to Trump, she pivoted to her own troubled Clinton Foundation.
According to the New York Post, the Clinton Foundation was placed on a nonprofit “watch list” after it was discovered to spend less than 10 percent of its fundraising and grants on actual charity work.
The foundation has also received hundreds of millions of dollars in donations from questionable sources, including states accused of sponsoring global terrorism, a “blood minerals” mining firm and individuals who appeared to receive political favors during Hillary’s tenure in the Senate and State Department.
Hillary can’t seem to catch a break. Then again, if she had better judgment she wouldn’t have to run from scandal constantly.
