Shouting “Trump Is A Racist” on SNL Is Worth $5k

ProAmnesty Group Shouting Down Republican Presidential Candidates

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump has made several statements about illegal immigrants and his desire to enforce immigration laws and to control the incoming flow of illegals, particularly those coming in from Latin America.  Deport Racism, the pro-amnesty group, is seeking to silence him with whatever means is available. They have a website and are also a political action committee (PAC) and they are willing to put their money on the line to silence or embarrass Trump, who is scheduled to appear on Saturday Night Live.  Deport Racism’s first attempt to make sure Trump was not heard by the SNL national audience was to call for NBC to rescind Trump’s invitation to appear. That effort failed, and they are now offering $5,000 to anyone who will disrupt his appearance by shouting “Trump is a racist!” This is not political discourse, it is public bullying, but there are those who see it as a legitimate way to have their voices heard.

In a statement, Santiago Cejudo, an organizer with the group, said:

NBC’s refusal to drop Trump has put us in the position of dropping $5,000 of cold hard cash to anyone who will yell out ‘Trump is a racist’ during the live broadcast of Saturday Night Live. We’re hoping the $5,000 will help people on set or in the studio audience find the bravery to speak out loudly and help focus the national conversation that we need to deport racism, not people. It’s 2016, and Trump needs to hear that you can’t win the White House without the brown vote.

Sadly, there are even government representatives and organizations who prefer to prevent the free exchange of political ideas including the Congressional Hispanic Caucus that is pressuring NBC to keep Trump off the show, and Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA) who is warning the his appearance on Saturday Night Live is “endangering Latinos” by allowing him to host the show.
