Shia LaBeouf Arrested for Assaulting Man on Live Stream at Anti-Trump Protest

Since November, liberal celebrities have used Trump’s victory to virtual signal to their impressionable fans and castigate the president for any number of “offenses”. It seems, however, that washed-up has-been Shia LaBeouf has endeavored to outdo them all by not simply joining anti-Trump protests but assaulting a man he claims is a white supremacist. In any case, the actor was taken away in handcuffs by law enforcement for his anti-social behavior:

“According to TMZ, the New York Police Department (NYPD) will maintain a presence at the site to ensure crowd control for as long as necessary. At times, dozens of people have shown up all at once at the exhibit to dance, sing and chant into the camera.

On Sunday, the LaBeouf was seen screaming the phrase “he will not divide us” in the ear of a man who was trying to speak into the camera. The Twitter account for the exhibit claimed the man was a white supremacist. The public exhibit has provided ample opportunity for pranksters, with multiple people showing up to riff on internet memes.”

The actor first rose to prominence as a child performer on the Disney Channel television series “Even Stevens,” and in 2008 starred in Steven Spielberg’s “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.”

More recently, he has drawn as much attention for his unusual art projects as for his acting. In November 2015, Mr. LaBeouf arranged a three-day marathon of all of his movies at the Angelika Film Center in Manhattan. The next month, he set up shop in an art gallery in Liverpool, England, asking people to call him and “touch his soul.”
