A sheriff in Pinellas County, Florida has a warning for anyone willing to come near him with a gun, he’s threatening them with his own.
The locally known anti-gun cop made the statements in response to open carry legislation being floated in his city. It attempts to make arming law abiding citizens easier, so that they can better defend themselves should they find their lives at risk.
How ironic that a man who fears for his own life in the presence of lawful gun ownership should resort to the very thing that he opposes — a gun — in order to protect himself.
It’s unlikely the cop thought of that before he threatened to kill the very citizens he’s employed to protect.
Cops have been put in a bad light recently for shooting at criminals when they think that their lives are in danger. It has been proven time and time again that their actions are reasonable and legal in a court of law. This man, however, may be the face of what a bad cop looks like: one who openly tries to take a citizen’s gun by threatening to use his own.

Socialism sounds good everything for free. Here is how socialism works. Your check will be small after they take out 80% of your money for taxes each week. You will get free housing. You will be told where to live at. They will tell you what time to shut off the lights in your Apt Building. Not a home. They will turn on and off your water to shower, just to save on water. You will get food stamps to buy food. If you rule out of food stamps. Then you will have to wait another month to get food stamps. Only certain people will get college for free. Your children will be indoctrinated into socialism and will be told to keep an eye on there parent in case they go against the government. If you are always sick they will kill you because you are taking more money then what your giving back to the government. You will have MARSHALL LAW to stop any protesting against the government. The government police will have the right at anytime t break down you apt door and arrest you for no reason. This what this stupid officer is doing right now and you can bet the Mayor and the city Judges have heads up on this to back the chief of police.
