Sen. Mike Lee: Unelected Obama Bureaucrats Generated Over 80,000 Pages of New Regulations Last Year

The federal laws that govern us all pass through Congress and the Senate before being signed into law by the President, right? Senator Mike Lee posted this picture to his Facebook page to remind us that actually, under the Obama regime, over 80,000 pages of regulations that affect the United States were generated and passed by Obama’s bureaucrats. How does this stack up to actual laws passed by Congress? Check out the photo for the tiny stack up top…

Behold my display of the 2013 Federal Register. It contains over 80,000 pages of new rules, regulations, and notices all written and passed by unelected bureaucrats. The small stack of papers on top of the display are the laws passed by elected members of Congress and signed into law by the president.
