The Secret Bilderberg Meeting and Its Trump-Populist Obsession

The Bilderberg group just met in Chantilly, Virginia, for their annual meeting.  As usual, the meeting was surrounded by intrigue, theories, conspiracies, and mystery.  This year’s meeting was actually announced, albeit on a limited basis and in a small section of local newspapers, but regardless, this was a turning point for the group which has successfully met for decades in many different locales around the globe without official announcements.

The attendees at this year’s conference was interesting as well, touting names such as elder statesmen Henry Kissinger and NATO secretary Jens Stoltenberg.  Ostensibly, the meeting was being held with the prominent agenda item at the head of the list as Trump’s presidency.  Here is the full published agenda for 2017:

1. The Trump Administration: A progress report
2. Trans-Atlantic relations: options and scenarios
3. Trans-Atlantic defence alliance: bullets, bytes and bucks
4. The direction of the EU
5. Can globalisation be slowed down?
6. Jobs, income and unrealised expectations
7. The war on information
8. Why is populism growing?
9. Russia in the international order
10. The Near East
11. Nuclear proliferation
12. China
13. Current events

Henry Kissinger is a fan of Donald Trump and that serves as a sort of interesting segue to this whole discussion.  As a matter of import in the political world, we all know that Kissinger is a very heavy hitter.  That said, there are a bunch of young upstarts in the business world who would no sooner see President Trump as an ally as they would see him as, literally, an enemy to business.

Numbers 2 and 3 are typical fare for the Bilderbergers, due mostly to its history.  The first official Bilderberg meeting in the Netherlands occurred at the behest of Polish politician-in-exile Józef Retinger who, concerned about the growth of anti-Americanism in Western Europe, decided that he and business associates should get together and discuss the future of business abroad with the United States.

The “direction of the EU” is tied directly to all the rest, right on down through #13.  As an aside, the number thirteen is significant among the Templar Knights and the Masons because of its correlation to Friday the 13th.  On October 13, 1307, a Friday, the Templar Knights leaders were all simultaneously murdered in their sleep across Europe due to their power and authority to all things mercantile.  It is believed that King Philip IV of France and the sitting pope at the time were in cahoots and the order was given for this mass assassination in order to steal their accumulated wealth.  They then, through the court systems, forced the Templars to renounce the organization and give up their fealty to its leaders to avoid prosecution.  Hence, the aversion today to Friday the 13th.

The direction of the European Union is a very important part of this group’s existence because of the very bedrock of Bilderberg business interests.  Europe has paved the way toward equaling the US Dollar in value by overshadowing it through the Euro Dollar for more than a decade.  With the decline of the EU in recent years, especially in light of Brexit, the collapse of several of the 27 member nations, and the introduction of a few more token inductees like Iceland, the organization is suffering financial instability and may possibly even be facing dissolution.

The question of slowing down globalization is one that is geared toward easing the fear of the people toward global mentality.  They have become increasingly aware that globalization is beginning to slowly fall by the wayside, especially in light of the most distressing ISIS invasions of Europe and North America.  This unexpected appearance of the Caliphate-obsessed Islamization movement has thrown a huge monkey wrench into its plans to globalize the entire world market.  The question of slowing it down is to hopefully create the appearance that globalization is not imminent, is not something to be feared, and is quite neighborly.

European Union globalists are also faced with the reality of the ravages of Socialism.  With the numbers of unemployed growing, the unfunded liabilities in many nations reaching top-heavy levels, and austerity measures resulting in mass panic, rioting and murderous rampages, the EU is further confounded on how to roll back expenditures for Socialism in excess, while remaining able to stay in power politically.  American interests are not helping by not following suit.  Socialism in the United States is waning currently and the predominant conventional wisdom here is one of more prudence in spending; hence, the Bilderberg group’s number one priority being the Trump presidency and its impact globally.  As well, the question of why populism is growing is one of those queries that very few of these elitist members can answer effectively, many having never worked in a capacity of the unwashed masses.  Like the modern Democrat Party here in the United States, they have lost all touch with what makes the common man tick.

Russia, China, the Near East and nuclear proliferation (probably more referring to North Korea and Iran) are troubling aspects of the unknown for the Bilderbergs.  They have never really had a great working relationship with these countries and are only now beginning to realize the force that these unionized countries are beginning to pose.  The markets are slowly bouncing back after years of negligence and abuse and the newly-minted president in the United States is also working to re-invent the wheel when it comes to trade agreements and treaties.  This throws yet another curve ball into the mix.

Current events a week ago would not have factored in the London Bridge terror event, but all the same, those events must have been on the agenda.  These, after all, are beginning to change the face of business in many regions that are terror prone, especially most recently in Europe.  Many of these Bilderbergers with interests in the Middle East are rethinking their strategies abroad and this could seriously impact their core businesses elsewhere.

According to most opinions, Bilderberg meetings are organized by a steering committee with two members from each of approximately 18 nations. Official posts include a chairman and an Honorary Secretary General. The only category that exists is “member of the steering committee” which usually meets twice a year to plan programs and to discuss the participant list. The group’s rules do not contain a membership category but former participants receive the annual conference reports. Most interesting of all the rules is the one which forbids attendees from taking notes or recording meetings in any format…audio, written, video, etc.

According to the Daily Mail:

Guests scheduled to attend the meeting include Dutch King Willem-Alexander, who works part-time as a commercial pilot; David Rubenstein, co-founder of influential global investment firm The Carlyle Group; and John Brennan, CIA chief under Barack Obama.

Ex-deputy secretary of state William Burns and former deputy assistant secretary of defense Elaine Bunn, both Obama-era officials,
will also attend.

Burns, the current president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, has warned that Trump ‘risks hollowing out the ideas, initiative and institutions on which US leadership and international order rest.’

Anti-globalization protesters reportedly have descended on the location of the meeting.

The secretive nature of the group has given birth to conspiracy theories. Some have warned, for example, that Bilderberg is a group of rich and powerful kingmakers seeking to impose a one world government.

This last bit has become a popular opinion and with good reason. The fact that this group appears to be ultra-obsessed with why populism is on the rise and how they can “slow down globalization” in the face of the strong opposition it has been facing lately is fodder for the grist mill.

As well, the Bilderberg group has also been tied to Nazis. This is one of those that is interesting in that, while most of the attendees and leaders are white men, the theory is tied most often to people who have never been proven to be members of the Nazi party. Although it has been pointed out that U.S. banker David Rockefeller was an avid supporter of the Eugenics movement (which was a definite influence in the Hitler regime) and the fact that he was a lifelong Republican (Conservative Christians were famously against Eugenics theory and institution) he was politically in the mold of a RINO, even formulating a political group called Republicans Who Care as a way of appealing to the center-Left of the political spectrum. Like many of the Rockefellers who were Democrats, he was in line with many of their core beliefs. This itself feeds the theory that Bilderberg group is a Nazi-like organization, having many of the traits of the Democrat Party, not the least of which is racism and White supremacy.

According to the Mirror, another theory was that the Republican Party is controlled by the Bilderbergs:

Political activist Phyllis Schlafly published a 1964 book A Choice, Not An Echo, which suggested that the US Republican Party is controlled by the Bilderberg group.

She denounced the Republican party and accused them of being controlled by ‘secret kingmakers’ – aka the rich and powerful group.

According to her, they were being manipulated by elitist intellectuals in the Bilderberg group and were paving the way for world communism.

Schlafly also accused them of corruption and globalism ans was particularly opposed to Henry Kissinger – a major participant in the global group’s meetings.

This is another of those theories that forces you to look beyond just the name of the party and to look directly at its actions. Of late, the Republican constituents have been absolutely enraged at the refusal of its representatives in the government to apply legislation that agrees with its voters. Look at the way the Congress rebuffed calls by the general populace to oppose then-President Obama in his quest to Executive Order everything into existence. Time and time again, we were told as Republican voters that their hands were tied and that the Democrats were just too mighty a force to do battle with. You remember all the promises that were given during their campaigns only to be thrown out the back door once they had gained the seat. It does make you wonder from where the marching orders are originating.

InfoWars goes into a bit more detail about the newspaper blackouts as well:

And just to add my own bit of fuel to the fire, a recent seating arrangement chart of all attendees to the Bilderberg meeting was published and, as the conspiracy theorists claim that the Bilderbergs are bent on being the all-seeing eyes of the world, the chart shows one central table and the satellite attendees encircling it, resembling one, large, all-seeing, eye.
