Female genital mutilation is a topic of growing concern in America following high levels of unchecked immigration from underdeveloped predominantly Muslim countries. Even the CDC acknowledges there is now a 4-fold increase of genital mutilation in girls under 18 and that half a million girls have either already been harmed or at risk.
Yet, another doctor was arrested in Detroit last week for performing female genital mutilations. Dr. Fakhruddin Attar and his wife, Farida Livonia, were involved in the same female genital mutilation investigation also resulting in the groundbreaking arrest of Dr. Jumana Nagarwala.
The 16-page criminal report released in connection to Dr. Nagrawala and his wife by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan reveals a disturbing correlation between “a particular religious and cultural community” and female genital mutilation.
