Repealing the Second Amendment would seemingly be an impossible task. But the left will not so easily give up.
But if the Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges teaches us anything, it’s that the age of judicial supremacy means that five justices can amend the Constitution far more efficiently than Congress and the state legislatures. And right now there are clearly four Supreme Court justices who are committed to the absurd view that the operative clause of the Second Amendment — “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed” — doesn’t actually mean “the right of the people” and therefore doesn’t encompass an individual right to own a weapon, even for self-defense. More of this theory on the next page:
Yes, if this goes badly and they try to remove our rights, REVOLUTION will be mandatory!
They don’t have the power to change the Constitution. They don’t make the laws.. That’s what we have Congress…
9 idiots
Never gonna happen
that will see a pebellion, MAJOR rebellion
Why are you trying to scare everyone with your ignorance? Constitutional amendments can only be repealed by passing another constitutional amendment, which requires a 2/3 vote from all states legislators, or a special vote from state caucuses
Americans 1 vote away from going to war with traitors…
“You can have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead hands.”
Don’t think that the SCOTUS won’t be able to emasculate the Constitution. They can “interpret” the Constitution any way they want. Please remember, the Constitution is only as strong as the country’s ability to defend it. The only part of government that can defend the Constitution is the military, and Obama is weakening the military and the top ranking officers, (Joint Chiefs of Staff). The president can have any of the Joint Chiefs arrested any time he wants, and for any reasons, provable or not. The average person doesn’t know the power of the president. We all will find out soon, just sit back and watch.
It takes two thirds of both houses, and three quarters of the state’s to amend the constitution
