Repealing the Second Amendment would seemingly be an impossible task. But the left will not so easily give up.
But if the Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges teaches us anything, it’s that the age of judicial supremacy means that five justices can amend the Constitution far more efficiently than Congress and the state legislatures. And right now there are clearly four Supreme Court justices who are committed to the absurd view that the operative clause of the Second Amendment — “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed” — doesn’t actually mean “the right of the people” and therefore doesn’t encompass an individual right to own a weapon, even for self-defense. More of this theory on the next page:
This is total BS. The SCOTUS can’t do it, even if they all voted one way.
Only way to do it is with:
3/4 of the House and
3/4 of the Senate and
3/4 of the States Legislatures
Or possibly using a Convention of states.
I agree they can’t repeal the second. They can, however interpret it differently so that it would no longer be a right enjoyed by the people but exclusively by the state.
And we will have a war then. And anyone in a leadership position in city, county, state or federal government will be the target.
And of course other federal employees. Life sucks and life
is short, so why work for the enemy of our nation and constitution. For I will give no quarter.
If the Republican Party was loyal to the rotors they would recognize that they are only a few votes away from a peachy both the president and members of the Supreme Court who do not follow the Constitution.
The Rinos need to go
The Supreme Court dos not have the authority to repeal any amendment to our Constitution !!!!
I don’t believe they can actually do that.
I am sick of that nonsense and destruction of what many of tgem r trying to do. Trump. We need to replace these wretched he’d and poor excuse for Supreme Court Judges!
