Repealing the Second Amendment would seemingly be an impossible task. But the left will not so easily give up.
But if the Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges teaches us anything, it’s that the age of judicial supremacy means that five justices can amend the Constitution far more efficiently than Congress and the state legislatures. And right now there are clearly four Supreme Court justices who are committed to the absurd view that the operative clause of the Second Amendment — “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed” — doesn’t actually mean “the right of the people” and therefore doesn’t encompass an individual right to own a weapon, even for self-defense. More of this theory on the next page:
Obergefell v Hodges is about same sex marriage…not the second ammendment. F**e article.
BS………no truth in this. Like Jerry Smith states…..can not vote away the Constitution.
They can give it their best shot and we will too.
Lol idiot they can’t do that
I don’t know what is sadder, the liberal idiots who pride themselves on their Constitutional ignorance, or the ones who claim to be Conservatives who don’t realize their ignorance. The SCOTUS cannot just repeal the Bill of Rights on a vote. It takes a Constitutional Convention to do that. And getting 3/4 of the states to vote “yes” on repealing or adding something is extremely difficult to achieve.
They must really want a revolution against them
One vote away from revolution. Just let them try it.
Who game them the right to just do whatever they want ?? Letting those robes overload their thinking. There would be a civil war !!
One vote away from the new revolution
Unconstitutional impletmentation
