There’s no doubt that Justice Antonin Scalia has left some big shoes to fill, and with Republicans facing pressure from both sides of the aisle to have a hearing and vote on President Obama’s nomination of Judge Merrick Garland, many believe that the ice is beginning to crack, so to speak.
Six Republican senators said they would meet with Garland, including Senator Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), taking the first step towards either voting him in or giving a convincing reason to say no.
The Republican party has had no shortage of divide and quarrel between themselves and their opponents over the course of President Obama’s two terms. And while some view their refusal to vote as political antics others are seeing it as them not doing their jobs. One thing can be said for sure about the situation, this vote isn’t going to happen with McConnell giving in first.
See what Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said about it on the next page.

Schumer’s sense of self importance makes me laugh. The cemetery is full of indispensable people. Vote democrat and this is what you get
Remember Billy Clinton was impeached?
The only RINOS are the teabaggers and libertarians pretending to be republicans. True patriotic republicans will do their job and respect the constitution and give the nominee a hearing and a vote. Which all democrats have done to all republican candidates in the past. Ironically making the democratic party with a history of being more respectful of the constitution than republicans
Poor choice
Mentally ill, Crazy lady, useless Indian trash never did or WILL DO anything for your Entire World.
DON’T YOU DARE FORGET IT!
I NEVER WILL!
GOP ALREADY CRACKED
they better not crack because if theirs a revolution, when they go for the guns all who had a hand in this will be the first to hang, a matter of speech of course.
Say goodbye to our 2nd amendment
Just like my hot water was suppose to be fixed yesterday, now I will believe it when I see it, or rather, do not see it. They’ll cave in, I would bet on it.
Sort of the same thing with hillary. If she walks, we will kn ow how deep the corruption goes. If she walks, I would say that all bet are off as to what the reaction of the people will be>
Paul Ryan will make sure that judge is approved.
