The Wilhelm-Diess-School in Pocking, Bavaria, who are housing Syrian refugees next to its school gym, has sent home a letter warning parents to not allow their daughters to wear revealing clothing, such as mini-skirts, low neckline blouses, sheer material, anything deemed “sexy” it seems. The head master cites the culture and norms of the mostly Muslim refugees who may find it shocking and possibly insulting. Some parents and students have had negative reactions, mostly about security concerns.

Girls SHOULD dress modestly at school but who decides what is modest is the issue. Some think showing arms or shoulder is not modest. Others thin spaghetti straps are ok.
