Schools Warns: Girls Dress Modestly To Not Offend Muslims

 From the letter by the headteacher:

“For the refugees, access to the school gardens and buildings is strictly forbidden. The same goes for the school grounds during the day. The number of teachers on duty during breaks has been increased,” read the letter from headteacher Martin Thalhammer.

The letter goes on in more detail:

“The Syrian citizens are mainly Muslims and speak Arabic. The refugees are marked by their own culture. Because our school is directly next to where they are staying, modest clothing should be adhered to, in order to avoid discrepancies. Revealing tops or blouses, short shorts or miniskirts could lead to misunderstandings.

Short skirts, revealing tops, short shorts could lead to what type of misunderstanding?  Frankly, schools which have uniforms, lead to no misunderstandings, and not just Muslim “misunderstandings”.   Uniforms are appropriate in that there is no competition between those that have means to buy labeled expensive short shorts and those kids who wear hand me downs.  The headteacher went on to say that the school “has never had a dress code and never will”.

One can understand the caution needed to make sure things run as smoothly as possible, and that concern is needed for a very strange situation.  But it’s apparent the school is viewing dressing like hookers normal, and reaction to it abnormal.  Do they really think the young male students aren’t having a reaction to young women dressing like they are auditioning for a hip-hop video?  And if one was a parent, you might take offense that you needed a letter to stop allowing your daughter to go to school dressed in short shorts with that great sheer salmon colored top with the cute pink laced bra that shows through.  Some might surmise the offense would be who allows their daughter to go outside in such apparel?

The problem isn’t the scary refugees who seem to be mistaken for jihadist. (Of course there is speculation that terrorists are hiding among the refugees).  The point is this–a letter had to be produced about appropriate dress at all. Which is about the overall climate of that school and its lack of decency.  Terrorist are gonna do what they do–kill regardless of the amount of skin shown.  Terrorist aren’t in it for the small game, if there their game is to hide, and probably embed themselves into communities forming cells.

One final quote by headteacher:

“When Muslim teenage boys go to open air swimming pools, they are overwhelmed when they see girls in bikinis,” he said.

Hmmm, that’s so weird.  Imagine teenage boys overwhelmed by seeing teenage girls in scantily clad bikinis?
