For Americans who support law enforcement and trust them to safeguard both their liberties and their well-being, it is disheartening to hear officers say that the way to protect the latter is by curtailing the former.
San Jose Police Chief Eddie Garcia is one such officer, as he revealed in an interview with San Jose Inside. Asked about the topics of the day, Garcia not only expressed support for the controversial Black Lives Matter movement, but also voiced opposition to laws allowing Americans to own firearms for their protection.
As one might be wont to point out, a majority of law enforcement officers believe that Americans should retain the right to bear arms, meaning that Garcia is clearly in the minority on the issue. However, his position as chief of police for the 10th largest city in the country means that his opinion will carry weight among the uninformed and be cited by liberals as support for their anti-gun agenda.

It saddens me that people in a position of power, especially police officers like this one, feel the need to falsly spout off about gun control. Criminals, who they deal with 95% of the time, don’t follow the law. THEY are the ones obtaining guns illegally, so no law in the world is going to stop that! It’s common sense, which seems pretty much all liberals DON’T have. Punishing the law abiding citizens from their right to protect themselves, only victimizes THE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS! The criminals know that, and that of course is why the cities with the STRICTEST gun control laws have the HIGHEST crime rates! Hmm, anyone see the correlation there? Criminals will ALWAYS follow the path of least resistance, again common sense. If the laws changed across the country tomorrow to allow Constitutional Carry, the crime rates would drop dramatically! You have two banks. One has a sign at the entrance saying they are anti gun, anti second amendment, NO GUNS ALLOWED! The other has a sign saying that they are PRO 2ND AMENDMENT, and all their tellers are armed and trained. Which bank so you think a crimnal will choose to rob? It’s COMMON SENSE! Zactly SM. Between Federal, State and local ordinances, there’s got to be thousands of existing laws the lawful gun owner/carrier has to navigate even though the 2nd Amendment says all citizens rights shall not be infringed upon…..

According to Feinsteins theory of gun-banitivity, if everyone is not allowed to possess guns, then even the Po-leece wouldn’t need them, this saving the taxpayers gobs o money on armaments, ammo, training, and that saved cash can be funneled to the TrIn to Nowheresville.
