The video on the Ethiopian domestic worker falling from the seventh floor of the building was shared on social media. You can see the desperation in her eyes and hear it in her voice.
Clinging on to the window with one hand, the Ethiopian woman cries: “Hold me, hold me!”, while her employer films the ordeal.
The employer is heard saying, “Crazy, come!” but does not help the woman.
It is not known how the woman got into the position.
According to reports, the surface the woman landed on was softer than appears in the video, and she walked away relatively unharmed. Still, though, why would her employer not help her. Who pulls out a cell phone to film somebody possibly die? Where’s the outrage?
