This one is about simple math. Nothing to do with feelings. Straight math says he won’t win. He’s alienated too much of the party, and every time he speaks, he alienates more and more voters. He is like a dream opponent to run against. If I were Clinton, I would make sure everyone who voted for him in the primaries got a Thank you card.
