Even the most delusional anti-Trump Republican seems to agree, the man they love to loathe is going to walk away from the GOP primary with more delegates than anyone in the race.
Any other year, this would seal a victory for the frontrunner. Those beaten would release their delegates to the frontrunner and the party would soldier to the general election as a cohesive, unified organization.
But this isn’t any other year, as Trump has disturbed all sense of normalcy and tradition in his bid to become the president of the United States, and the party isn’t happy.
The Republican Party has long been the party of ‘fall in line,’ and ‘wait your turn,’ and Donald Trump’s refusal to do either has enraged the establishment so fiercely that they’re now poised to do everything in their power to shut him down.
Reince Priebus, the head of the GOP establishment, seems so determined to get Trump off the national ticket that he’s willing to undermine the very democracy upon which his party is based.

It’s about time the American voters accept both parties don,t rep the voters any more. They lied to the voters time and time. They are only worked about covering their own backside. I do not trust Congress at all. It,s all double talk from all of them. I just hope a third party will become organized, I would accept with open arms
I agree with most of what you said; however, the actions by the RNC will cause the death of the RNC not the GOP. This is what is scaring the party elite.
We the people have a chance to make a change. If we keep voting the same way every cycle why do we expect it to be different? The RNC doesn’t even try to hide their intentions, we need a non politician in there even if he needs to go independent. Wake up people our country is at stake!
This year all of America has learned what the republican party really is .It is a small group of overly rich people that want to control everyone else. There will not be a republican party after this election.

No I like the party but don’t like corrupt officials like this guy running it like we’re stuck in the 1800s. The rule they’re talk about was for the time to allow people to vote for a nominee and that delegate will for the majority voters in that section. For the lack of communication due to the times. Now days everything is instant. There is no need for this rule, but want to act on it because those individuals don’t want to vote for Trump. Majority rules but not in the America anymore.
Screw the party. I have been Republican all my life, but I will support Mr. Trump if he decides to run independent. The Party, is a joke as are most of you paid politicians that are in someone’s pocket.
