Reading about fraud is always upsetting, but reading about charity fraud is downright infuriating.
When the already-impoverished nation of Haiti was struck by a devastating earthquake in 2010, people around the world opened their checkbooks to donate money to the reconstruction of the country. Among the recipients of these generous donations was the Red Cross, who pledged to help the people of Haiti get back on their feet with the millions of dollars given to them.
Yet five years after launching LAMIKA, a project named after a Creole acronym for “A Better Life In My Neighborhood” and meant to build hundreds of homes in Port-Au-Prince, only six homes have been built across the entire country, forcing citizens to continue dwelling in shacks without water, electricity or basic sanitation and regular flooding. In short, the Red Cross has delivered far less than it promised not just to it’s donors, but to the people it claimed it would help as well.

Red Cross must belong to the Clinton Foundation
My son-in-law went to work for the Red Cross after his military retirement, thinking he could do some good. He quickly learned from the inside about their greed and waste. He watched co workers being dispatched to tragedies such as fires stay in posh hotels while out of town, while providing fire victims with three nights of accommodations in a local motel. Within a year, he secured other employment.
I refuse to donate to such organizations and I hope that soon the greed and over payment of executive salaries is examined. My s-i-l sure didn’t make enough to care for his family.
Disgraceful! God sees all and there will be a payday! Like the Clinton’s, thievery at its best!
my great grandma was in some catastrophy…1912 or so…..needed a blanket…they charged her $45. they want blood..in the 70’s it was 400 per pint. dont know price now….
More like $654,000 a year
My grandfather said they charged the troops for cigarettes. Wouldn’t let me donate as a child. Later was gouged for one unit of blood.
Disband Red Cross ands it’s Sister Green Crescent, now
Clintons?
Promises, promises. Sounds like some other “charities” I know that sing you a sob story and the gullible public shells out only $18.99 a month to save a life!
I’m sure the CEO has a lavish condo somewhere for a getaway. They are all a bunch of thieves !
