Although Obama and his liberal followers want to keep guns out of the hands of the American people, his recent executive actions have actually led to a huge increase in the number of Americans purchasing guns and firearm accessories, with sales of silencers in particular skyrocketing as the new gun regulations prepare to go into effect.
Knowing that they might not have the chance to get them in the near future, people are loading up while they still have the chance.
While prospective buyers of silencers have long had to undergo background checks before being able to acquire one, individual customers could form trusts that would generally be able to buy the device without much trouble. Thanks to Obama’s onerous new regulations however, gun owners will be denied another avenue towards purchasing silencers.
“According to The Wall Street Journal, prior to Obama’s executive gun controls, ‘People who wanted silencers…formed a trust–or created almost a company–[and] it became much, much easier to buy a silencer. And that’s what’s at issue in [Obama’s] new regulation.’
There were ‘111,599 trusts for silencers’ created in 2014. Which is part of the explanation for how America jumped from less than 400,000 ‘registered gun silencers’ in 2012 to nearly ‘800,000’ by the end of February 2015.
And now, with acquisition of silencers about to get much more cumbersome for individuals in trusts, consumers are flocking to gun stores to get a silencer.”
For example, “Luis Rose, owner of Sterling Arsenal, a gun shop and manufacturer in Sterling, Va., said that by the end of January, he has sold half the year’s inventory of one of the most popular silencer brands. Mr. Rose said he typically sells about $100,000 of those silencers a month, but so far has sold about six times that.”
And Rose’s example is not isolated. The gun salesman of the decade–President Obama–is now vying for the title of Silencer Salesman of the Year.

Silencers are illegal to own & always have been
Matt, I beg to differ but silencers are not illegal and have not been for some time. I have owned one since 2009 and in Washington State you can even hunt with them. Silencer Facts: 39 States Now Allow Sound Suppressor Ownership

Be at least 18 years of age to possess a silencer as a beneficiary of a trust or as a member of a corporation (contingent on state laws).
Be a resident of the United States.
Be legally eligible to purchase a firearm.
Pass a BATFE background check with a typical process time of 60-120 days.
Pay a one-time $200 Transfer Tax.
Reside in one of the 39 states that currently allows civilian ownership of silencers.

The Immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27, 1952 revised the laws relating to immigration, naturalization, and nationality for the United States. That act, which became Public Law 414, established both the law and the intent of Congress regarding the immigration of Aliens to the US and remains in effect today. Among the many issues it covers, one in particular, found in Chapter 2 Section 212, is the prohibition of entry to the US if the Alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by “force, violence, or other unconstitutional means.” This, by its very definition, rules out Islamic immigration to the United States, but this law is being ignored by the White House.Islamic immigration to the US would be prohibited under this law because the Koran, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam, which is antithetical to the US government, the Constitution, and to the Republic. All Muslims who attest that the Koran is their life’s guiding principal subscribe to submission to Islam and its form of government. Now the political correct crowd would say that Islamists cannot be prohibited from entering the US because Islam is a religion.
