Rand Paul is completely correct, of course, that there is no need for bayonets in local law enforcement. Bayonets are for hand-to-hand combat in battle and the only purpose is to kill.

Law enforcement agents have a hard on to kill anybody. Dont think for one second they wont use the weapons and skill on YOU. Thats why they become cops so they all get the chance to kill some one or lock some one up for life. Look how many wrongful deaths and over turned convictions do to muddied dna testing and falsifying evidence just so they can score one and advance their careers. DA’s and prosecutors arent exempt either. All these people have a hard on to f*ck some one over. I truley believe there are more bad or (ill intentioned) cops than there is good ones. Theyre born and bread a**holes. They take the job because they think theyre cool, or they’ll get away with crime or they’ll get the hot girls or they have an ego problem.
