Vladimir Putin is no fan of the “Arab Spring”, evident by his address to the UN. Putin, who is allies with Assad, and Russia who has interests in Syria as a strategic location, has moved his military to the Syrian border. His speech pointed out his take on the Arab spring, and he believes the Obama “doctrine” in the Middle East has left a vacuum that ISIS is filling. Surprisingly, his take on the Arab Spring is much aligned with how many American conservatives view it.

You all know that putin has jailed his political opponents some believe he was responsible for assassinations, journalists, activists, and non-violent protesters. He’s supplied Al-Assad weapons after Al-Assad used chemical warfare during the Syrian civil war. He’s essentially made being LGBT illegal he annexed Chimea away from Ukraine, wars in Chechnya and Georgia in an attempt to have them rejoin Russia. If we were to follow Putin’s footsteps the Republicans would be arrested, many of the fox news reporters would be jailed, conservative super pacs would be forced to identify all contributors as a foreign entities leaving them open to deportation. Any kind of Gay propganda would find the perpetrators jailed for 2 or more years. It really is ashame that Americans see a picture of putin riding a horse without a shirt, and a quick video of him working out and think he’s a great leader, he’s an oppressor, he stands for everything that this country is not.

Joe the ignorance of your comment is exactly what is wrong with the US today. Obama is an elected leader, whose term will expire at the end of 8 years, not one day beyond. There will be no political shenanigans to keep him in office initiated by him or by anyone else. The US economy is a shining star compared to the majority of the rest of the world, Russia in particular. And please, tell me what it is you have lost the freedom to do under this administration. You can’t. But you already know all of this if you possess even a room-temperature IQ; you just choose to convince yourself otherwise, and espouse your self-delusion on Facebook. The fact that more people like your comment than mine speaks volumes about how Americans have embraced stupidity with both arms.
