Vladimir Putin is no fan of the “Arab Spring”, evident by his address to the UN. Putin, who is allies with Assad, and Russia who has interests in Syria as a strategic location, has moved his military to the Syrian border. His speech pointed out his take on the Arab spring, and he believes the Obama “doctrine” in the Middle East has left a vacuum that ISIS is filling. Surprisingly, his take on the Arab Spring is much aligned with how many American conservatives view it.

To all you Putin loving idiots. Tell the MH-17 families how great he is. SMFH
Amen
I have respect for Putin since he knows how to deal with ISIS and Syria. Obama is just a stupid clown and an embarrassment..
What a bloody joke
IDIOT OBAMA
Obama knows what he has done…. He and Hillary have destroyed peace in the middle east and promoted millions of refugees and millions of deaths (before its all over).
True though I still wouldn’t want to live there
what is happening in Syria is basically the Cuban Missle Crisis 2.0 in terms of the confrontation between the U.S. and Russia.
Kevin, can you name a single country that is better off since we removed its “brutal dictator”? Has the Arab Spring worked out for anybody?
This is on Obama and Bush. Both are guilty of removing very awful dictators, only to see each of those countries plunge into something far worse and open the door for groups like ISIS.
Assad is another horrific leader. But as bad as he is, maybe he is better than what will follow. As bad as Saddam was, is there anybody who thinks Iraq is better off now? How about Lybia – is it better off?
As long as religion is the guiding principle that part of the world is going to live with bloodshed, misery, and chaos.
From what Putin said on 60 Minutes and at the UN, this is at least one reason why he backs Assad.
Sooo we bomb isis for about two years and no one cares, but as soon as russia jumps in they’re all of the sudden the saviours of the western world?
