Vladimir Putin is no fan of the “Arab Spring”, evident by his address to the UN. Putin, who is allies with Assad, and Russia who has interests in Syria as a strategic location, has moved his military to the Syrian border. His speech pointed out his take on the Arab spring, and he believes the Obama “doctrine” in the Middle East has left a vacuum that ISIS is filling. Surprisingly, his take on the Arab Spring is much aligned with how many American conservatives view it.

I remember studying comparative politics during the height of the Cold War .
The Soviet Union was allied with several countries in the middle east , like Syria and Egypt. Deja vue !
Putin was and always will be a a communist . That being said , he is also a very adept opportunist .
He does long for the “old days ” of proposed Soviet$#%&!@*. He is using the old soviet playbook of seeking out your enemy’s weaknesses and filling a void . With Obama as President , Putin is just a kid in a “candy store ” with a high limit credit card . Fortunately , egypt has not fallen for the same lies a second …. Yet .

Is it bad that at a time Russia is supposed to be a huge threat to the USA I’m routing for them to take control of Syria, because we have a president that is to afraid to. Let’s all come together and take control of the whole area. ISIS is a small group compared to multiple countries on the same page attacking form the inside out.
