We officially reached a new low this year with the whole finger-pointing-name-calling-racist-labeling project as conducted by liberal race-baiters.
UCLA professor emeritus of education, Val Rust, was the target of the protestors last year by “aggrieved minority students,” as they label themselves, for charges of racism.
Just what did Professor Rust do that got him labeled a racist? Get this…he corrected spelling, punctuation, and grammar in the papers of black students.

Let me see if I now understand it all…..if we do not personally care for, agree with or want to be with we are racist. If an uneducated fool makes it to college/university and a learned prof. corrects errors on papers they turn in, then that is racism? Wow…..talk about true and real ignorance…
Well lets see no one should even get to the college level if they can’t read and write but we know it happens. It’s not racist and I’m tired of everyone playing the race card over everything. This didn’t used to happen to the degree it does today. What is wrong with this country but alot of us know that, too.
Again silly me I though people went to collage to learn to do things properly. If not why go?

Oh, no! Someone or many want to reestablish Slavery again. It starts at minute things, supposedly for the benefits of the other race, but it accumulates until the other race’s freedom is counted by a radius of one foot from a persons center of gravity! If I were a black person, I would welcome any correction, any advice, any suggestion, anything that would improve me because it means I am counted as a human being in a society that fits in with the intellectual group and not among the race being kept ignorant, uneducated, unrefined. I would welcome whatever the professor’s correction might be because it means he cares, he wants me to be properly educated, he wants to elevate my status in the academic world. This is how I take it if my skin is naturally black.
