UCLA professor emeritus of education, Val Rust, was the target of the protestors last year by “aggrieved minority students,” as they label themselves, for charges of racism.
Just what did Professor Rust do that got him labeled a racist? Get this…he corrected spelling, punctuation, and grammar in the papers of black students.

Don’t correct the uneducated and ignorant because we are racist — Good Lord have we fallen from grace. The student is way past a level he is qualified to be. Probably never should have graduated from second grade but was instead advanced for his race. And we wonder why so many have to stand on the side lines. They are not qualified to grow in this society. He also could be a illegal alien?
It is rediculous, Why go to a University if you do not want to Learn? And how will you know if you learned the lesson well if you are not corrected for making a mistake so that you will be able to correct yourself
Idiotic! The kid should be thrown out, if he can’t communicate in English! Even people in China and Korea can communicate in English properly! English is the international language of business. If you don’t know it, you’re a lame duck.
If we are to be labeled as racist for every action including trying to properly teach grammar and punctuation to the ignorant who have gotten a free ride due to the color of their skin, and continue to whine about being oppressed, then fine, simply cease attempting to educate them and remove them from the rest who do wish to learn. Sorry but if you think you can pull the “race card” through your life, once you get out of a school you’re obviously not qualified to be in, you will be jobless and useless, and simply another criminal blaming “Whitey” for all your problems which you created with your own lack of initiative and ignorance and thinking you can get a free ride simply because of the color of your skin…… Sorry, but the real world requires effort and perseverance, but as you probably can neither spell those words, much less know what they mean, enjoy your time in prison…… And Sorry, but it’s not “Whiteys” fault that you were a lazy good for nothing that pulled the “race card”, but entirely your own, so take responsibility for your own actions and future, and stop blaming others for your inaction…..
